Right now, BMAAAC along with the national law firms of McCarthy Tétrault LLP and Borden Ladner Gervais LLP are in court to help Band Members that are at odds with chief and council regarding an Election and Financial Administration Law at:


  • Lower Kootenay Indian Band (BC)


Right now, BMAAAC along with the international law firm of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP are in court to help Band Members that are at odds with chief and council regarding compensation settlement money (eg, cows & plows) in the following First Nation communities:


  • Muskowekwan First Nation (Saskatchewan)
  • Thunderchild First Nation (Saskatchewan)


Right now, BMAAAC along with international law firm of Norton Rose Fulbright LLP are preparing to go to court to help Band Members that are at odds with chief and council regarding the Financial Administration Law at:

BMAAAC appeared as an Intervener at the Supreme Court of Canada case in February 2023 regarding the applicability of the Charter to inherent right Indigenous governments:
